Jacob Yates is a senior financial planner for the Sports and Entertainment Division of Blue Trust.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant, Jacob analyzes clients’ overall financial condition and develops customized recommendations designed to help them realize their financial and life goals. He evaluates a client’s estate, insurance, tax, investment, giving, retirement, trust, and cash flow considerations and brings them together to create a comprehensive plan tailored specifically to the client’s needs.
Before joining the company, he worked at Ashford Advisors, handling administrative and planning needs for clients.
Jacob earned his BS in finance from the University of Georgia. While there, he played club tennis for four years.
Active in his community, Jacob regularly attends his local church and participates in their monthly community service days.
Jacob is married to his wife, Katherine. He plays in a recreational tennis league and loves adventuring with his wife—hiking, camping, or exploring national parks together.
