Jason Schug is an associate advisor for the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust and is based in the Indianapolis office.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant and Certified Kingdom Advisor®, Jason specializes in investment strategy while providing comprehensive financial planning tailored to each client’s unique needs. He leads client meeting preparation and helps develop and implement strategies across investment management, cash flow, tax planning, gifting, education, financial independence, and estate planning. Jason primarily serves business owners and multigenerational families and particularly enjoys working with the next generation of families to help them develop a thoughtful approach to stewardship and financial decision-making.

Jason joined Blue Trust in 2021. In addition to his client responsibilities, he serves on the firm’s reporting SWAT team, helping develop and enhance investment and financial reporting used across the firm.

Jason graduated cum laude from Taylor University in 2021 with Bachelor of Science degrees in both finance and accounting.

Jason lives in Broadripple, Indiana, with his wife, Kelsey. They attend Soma Midtown Church, where they serve with ministries such as PourHouse and Nicaragua Resource Network. They also enjoy running, backpacking, traveling, and anything outdoors.
