Jacob Yates is an associate advisor for the Sports and Entertainment Division of Blue Trust.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant and Certified Kingdom Advisor®, Jacob provides technical expertise in investments and comprehensive financial planning, creating personalized strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. He oversees client meeting preparation and implementation of action items while addressing key areas such as cash flow, tax strategies, gifting, education, retirement, and estate planning. Additionally, Jacob supports investment management through reviews, rebalancing, and reporting. Committed to excellence, he fosters strong client relationships and actively contributes to the team’s growth.

Before joining the company, he worked at Ashford Advisors, handling administrative and planning needs for clients.

Jacob earned his BS in finance from the University of Georgia. While there, he played club tennis for four years.

Active in his community, Jacob regularly attends his local church and participates in their monthly community service days.

Jacob is married to his wife, Katherine. He plays in a recreational tennis league and loves adventuring with his wife—hiking, camping, or exploring national parks together.
