Mark Sweeney is an associate advisor for the Everyday Steward division of Blue Trust and is based in the Hunt Valley, Maryland office.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant and Certified Kingdom Advisor®, Mark provides technical expertise in investment management and comprehend-sive financial planning, creating personalized strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. He leads client meeting preparation and implements action items across key planning areas, including cash flow, tax strategy, gifting, education, financial independence, and estate planning. Committed to excellence, Mark fosters strong client relationships and actively contributes to the team’s growth.

Before joining Blue Trust, Mark worked as an executive pastor for Christ Fellowship Church and the director of operations for Freedom Church. Mark also served as the Young Life area director for Southern Delaware.

Mark earned his degree in communications from Towson State University. He earned his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Active in the community, Mark serves on the advisory board for Redemption in Action and Somebody Cares Baltimore.

Mark resides in Bel Air, Maryland, with his wife, Melissa, and their three children.
