Continuity Process

Choosing a business continuity partner can be overwhelming. We follow a thorough and well-crafted process to prepare, develop, and execute your plan so that the future transition is as seamless as possible for your employees and clients.

Step 1: Get Acquainted & Align Expectations

Evaluate if both organizations align culturally & strategically. Determine critical success factors, potential challenges, & possible solutions.

Step 2: Sign Agreement

Establish a process for the transition of clients & employees upon death or disability. Specify terms for purchase of equity & clients at time of death or disability. Sign business continuity agreement. Draft and sign a business transition plan and legal agreement.

Step 3: Business Continues with Blue Trust Agreement in Place

Begin participating in Blue Trust corporate gatherings. Update your client & employee agreements to reflect Blue Trust as business continuity partner.

Step 4: Activate Agreement (When Needed)

Agreement takes effect upon death or disability. Blue Trust becomes your clients’ new fiduciary advisor serving them with excellence.
