Jacob Ferguson is an associate advisor for the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust and is based in the Indianapolis office.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant and Certified Kingdom Advisor®, Jacob provides technical expertise in investment management and comprehensive financial planning, creating personalized strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. He leads client meeting preparation and implements action items across key planning areas, including cash flow, tax strategy, gifting, education, financial independence, and estate planning. Committed to excellence, Jacob fosters strong client relationships and actively contributes to the team’s growth.
Jacob joined Blue Trust in 2021 and co-created the financial planning workshop curriculum used in Blue Trust offices nationwide. He also co-led the Ron Blue Institute’s 2024 cohort for the 9:23 Fellowship with Michael Blue and has hosted several Journey of Generosity (JOG) retreats with Generous Giving. In 2025, Jacob received Blue Trust’s Core Value Award
in Excellence.
Jacob graduated summa cum laude from Taylor University with a BS in finance and a minor in biblical literature. During his time at Taylor, he served as President of the Class of 2021 and was awarded Student Leader of the Year.
Active in the community, Jacob has hosted multiple educational workshops on biblical financial planning for local ministries and organizations, including Outreach, Youth for Christ, Orr Fellowship, and Kingdom Factor. He serves on the regional board for HOPE International and is active in various ministries at College Park Church in Indianapolis. Jacob resides in Carmel, IN.
