

Jono Allen is a business consulting associate for the Business Consulting division of Blue Trust.
In his role, Jono analyzes corporate financial data and incorporates Blue Trust’s business planning approach and biblical values into tailored strategies that help clients achieve their goals. With over nine years of experience in the financial industry, he supports the Business Consulting division by helping meet the increasing demand for advisory services across the company’s field offices and direct client relationships.
Before joining Blue Trust, Jono was a leveraged finance vice president portfolio manager at Fifth Third Corporate and Investment Bank, managing a $1.5 billion portfolio of highly leveraged loans to private equity-backed companies. He also served as a relationship manager at Westpac Bank New Zealand, overseeing underwriting, portfolio management, and client relationships for commercial and corporate lending.
Jono graduated magna cum laude from Bob Jones University with a BA in theology and a Graduate Diploma of Arts in Economics from Massey University in New Zealand. He served as a New Venture competition judge hosted by Massey University Veterinary Association, where senior veterinary students pitched startup businesses to potential investors. He was recognized with the ASB Super Achiever Award and a nomination for Westpac’s National Legends Award.
Jono is active in his local church as a missions committee member, community group leader, and shepherding trainee. Previously, he served as a deacon, finance committee member, and music director in New Zealand. He also volunteered with Christians Against Poverty, where he led the setup of a debt counseling center that equips local churches to provide practical help and life skills to work their way out of financial bondage. He has been a cellist for over 24 years.
Jono and his wife, Erin, live with their two children in Charlotte, North Carolina.
