Pete Kantor is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Blue Trust.
As COO, Pete contributes to the development and execution of the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and alignment with Blue Trust’s mission and values. His leadership fosters a people-centered approach, applying the company’s core values and fostering a culture of growth, learning, and effective leadership development. With a strong background in managing enterprise-level initiatives and leveraging data analytics to inform corporate strategy, Pete oversees operational strategy to ensure Blue Trust’s services align with client needs, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.
Pete began his career with SunTrust Bank, where he served in various senior leadership roles across technology, data & analytics, and corporate and investment banking. He then worked at LPL Financial as the senior vice president of technology. While there, he led a technology delivery organization responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications used by financial advisors to run their businesses and improve their end investor’s client experience. Pete joined Blue Trust in 2024.
Pete received a BS in finance from Florida State University. He is the vice chair of the board of trustees for Whitefield Academy and serves as director for the Center for Children and Young Adults’ board of directors.
Pete and his wife, Suna, have a daughter and son and live in Smyrna, Georgia.
