

Sona Marukhyan is a financial planner for the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust and serves clients out of the office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As an experienced financial planner, Sona analyzes clients’ overall financial situation and develops personalized strategies to help them achieve both their financial and life goals. She is passionate about empowering individuals, families, and businesses to grow in the stewardship of the resources entrusted to them, experience greater peace of mind, and live generously. Sona and her team integrate financial planning, tax and charitable giving strategies, investment management, and trust services into comprehensive plans tailored to each clients’ needs.
Sona began her career in public accounting. She spent five years in the Assurance Practice at Ernst & Young in Indianapolis, where she served public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. Before joining Blue Trust in 2015, she held financial analyst roles at IU Health and SAP (UK) Ltd.
Sona graduated from Bellarmine University with a degree in accounting and economics. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®).
Engaged in her community, Sona is an active member of her local church. Additionally, she enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, admiring art, traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, and spending time outdoors.
Sona and her husband, Dave, have two daughters and reside in Fishers, Indiana.
