Stefanie Leighter is the senior estate settlement officer for Blue Trust’s Fiduciary Services.
As the senior estate settlement officer, Stefanie’s focus is to provide expertise in the administration of decedents’ estates and/or trusts of varying complexity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. She leads the administration of these accounts through coordinating with external partners and internal support partners to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient administration, and to manage risk.
Before joining Blue Trust in 2024, Stefanie was an estate planning attorney at Mercer Wealth Advisors, where she handled estate planning for Mercer clients. She also worked as an attorney at Lynch Murphy McLane LLP where she handled estate planning, estate administration and settlement, and general business law.
Stefanie graduated with her BA from Ohio State University and received her juris doctor from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College.
Active in her community, Stefanie is a member of her HOA board. She previously volunteered as a Young Life leader for seven years at Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs, and was then a volunteer Committee Member with Portland Young Life. She also served as a team leader for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Walk MS.
Stefanie and her husband, Jacob, have one child with one on the way and live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys laughing with her husband, partaking in a great outdoor adventure with her family, or catching the latest Hollywood hit at the movie theater.
