

Tim Bowman is a senior private wealth advisor for the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust and serves his clients out of the office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant, Tim analyzes clients’ overall financial condition and develops customized recommendations designed to help them realize their financial and life goals. He evaluates a client’s estate, insurance, tax, investment, giving, retirement, trust, and cash flow considerations and brings them together to create a comprehensive plan tailored specifically to the client’s needs.
Prior to joining Blue Trust, Tim worked as a wealth management advisor at TIAA for five years where he provided financial planning advice and guidance to high net-worth clients. He also served as the Associate Vice President for Development at Indiana Wesleyan University for 10 years where he directed and ensured that all giving strategies fulfilled the charitable funding goals of the University.
Tim graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He also earned his MBA from Miller College of Business Ball State.
Tim is a seasoned speaker and seminar instructor. He has been featured on Indiana NPR and has presented personal finance to the leadership institute of Focus on the Family. Tim’s writings have been published in the IWU Alumni Magazine, Triangle.
Tim was the founding director for the Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012 and currently serves on the board. He is also a member of Kingdom Advisors.
Tim and his wife, Rachel, live in Fishers, Indiana with their five daughters. He enjoys sports, hiking, WWII history, and cooking or playing board games with his girls.
