A Week of Eternal Impact: Blue Trust’s Sponsorship with Groundwire
Written by Brian Shepler, CEO of Blue Trust
One of the greatest joys of my role as CEO of Blue Trust is seeing how God works through our efforts and resources to make an impact far beyond ourselves. Recently, I had the privilege of watching this happen in a very tangible way through our weeklong sponsorship of Groundwire—a ministry that is close to my heart and shares the gospel with young people across the world.
I want to celebrate the results of the sponsorship with our clients, employees, and partners—because you’re a part of this greater story of generosity towards kingdom impact.
What does Groundwire do?
Groundwire uses targeted media campaigns and around-the-clock digital engagement to meet people right where they are—often in moments of crisis, searching for hope and answers. They deploy ads on platforms where young adults spend much of their time online, and each ad points to one simple truth: Jesus cares.
When someone responds to an ad, Groundwire’s network of trained volunteers is ready to chat live, listen to their story, and share the good news of the gospel.
I have the honor of serving on Groundwire’s board, and I’ve seen firsthand the eternal impact of their work. Time and again, I’ve witnessed stories of people on the brink of despair who encounter a Groundwire ad, begin a conversation, and ultimately make a life-changing decision to follow Christ.
Championing a Week
From September 22–26, Blue Trust served as a Corporate Champion with Groundwire, sponsoring an entire week of outreach. Our sponsorship allowed Groundwire to sustain five full days of advertising, coaching, and prayer engagement.
This partnership wasn’t just about financial support—it was about stewardship. We believe God has entrusted us with resources to use for His purposes, and this opportunity represented a tangible way to extend the reach of the gospel.
Throughout the week, our employees were able to follow along on a live dashboard that updated in real time. Hour by hour, we could see the fruit of this investment—people engaging with content, starting conversations, and making commitments to Christ. It was both humbling and inspiring to watch.
Celebrating the Results
While statistics can never fully capture the depth of transformation God brings, they do give us a glimpse into the scope of impact. I’m thrilled to share that during our sponsored week:
4,603,268 people saw the ads and were reminded of God’s love.
302,790 individuals clicked through to learn more about Jesus.
26,770 people made professions of faith and began a new walk with Christ.
Each of these metrics points to lives forever changed! Somewhere in the world, there are now men and women who have hope, peace, and eternal security in Christ—because a simple message reached them in their moment of need.
Gratitude and Vision
I want to thank the Groundwire team for faithfully stewarding this mission. Their passion for reaching the lost is contagious, and their innovative approach is meeting people in places the Church may struggle to reach.
I also want to thank our Blue Trust community—our clients, employees, and partners—because this is your impact too. As a firm, we are committed not only to helping families steward their wealth with wisdom but also stewarding our corporate resources in a way that honors Christ and advances His kingdom.
This sponsorship is just one example of how we can come together to multiply eternal impact. Although the week is over, the ripple effects will continue as those reached by Groundwire continue to grow in their relationship with Christ and share their newfound faith with family, friends, and communities.

Looking Ahead
At Blue Trust, we often talk about the privilege of walking alongside clients as they consider the legacies they will leave. This experience with Groundwire reminds us of the most lasting legacy of all: pointing people to Jesus.
As we look to the future, may we continue to live and lead with this purpose—faithfully stewarding our influence, resources, and opportunities for God’s glory.
